This is the FPV kit we point to when someone says, “I want to try real FPV… but I also like having money.”
The EMAX Tinyhawk Lite RTF is a proper little whoop that lets you learn, crash, learn again, and keep flying — all without turning your lounge room into a repair bench. 🎮
It’s ready to fly out of the box. Plug it in, arm it, and start discovering just how magnetic door frames can be.
Why we rate it
The Tinyhawk Lite sits right in that sweet spot: friendly for first-timers, still fun once you know what you’re doing.
It runs on 1S power, so it’s smooth and manageable, but still agile enough to feel like an actual mini racer — not a toy pretending to be one. The ducted frame is forgiving, the tune is solid, and it’s happy flying indoors or around a quiet outdoor space.
Control comes via ExpressLRS, which means low-latency, reliable response without any fiddly nonsense. And the Runcam Nano 3 gives you clean, readable analog video that makes learning lines and recovering from mistakes way easier than it has any right to be.

Final thoughts
This is one of those kits that actually does what it promises. It teaches you FPV properly, survives your early mistakes, and doesn’t feel pointless once you improve.
If you’re ready to start flying instead of endlessly researching, this is a very solid place to begin. Just… maybe don’t aim for trees straight away. 🐾⚡
